MICROBLADE PILL Ti - Titanium

I have appreciated the design and form factor of the MicroBlade Pill Ti. I have been a bit surprised at the difficulty in getting the blade sharp enough. It has been useful, but on several occasions, the blade didn't seem to be sharp enough to cut thin plastic packaging or even packing tape. I have used the MicroCarry sharpening kit, but still feel the edge is not as sharp as I'd like. I'll probably use some other sharpener to get a better edge. That said, I do really like the tool. I bought one for all six people in my family. Some of them love it, some less so.

Ok it’s expensive but it goes everywhere with me. I flew international & realised I’d left it in my hand luggage. That’s 3 x sets of scanners/security & all good. Handy thing to have to hand but different use case to a penknife. Great for letters, boxes, not so great for whittling, carving or prepping food.

The hole for fastening should be at 90 degrees to the blade. An alternate retention device or method, like a neodymium magnet incorporated into the cap to eliminate the need for the unsightly rubber cap holder. Love the look, size and blade!

I bought this tool after I had (yet another) miniature Swiss army knife confiscated at a security check point. Even a1 1/2 inch blade was considered too dangerous to bring into Disneyland. This is a great substitute for a small carry knife when you are in in a pinch and just need a small point or small blade to cut something small. Packing tape, boxes, string, plastic packaging, loose threads, etc. I am using this little tool multiple times a day. It is very unassuming on your key chain and comes in very handy. I will be purchasing additional ones to give out as gifts.
