Details

A 50 mm knife you open with one finger. Brass body, 440C blade at HRC 59–60, two lock positions. This is the Kickstarter BOBER, brass edition, with the leather pouch and a black titanium keyring in the box.

  • Opens with a flick of the deployment wheel — put a finger through the ring, roll the wheel, the blade is out. Closes the same way.
  • Cuts what a Pill can't — twine, rope, zip ties, cardboard, tough plastic, wire insulation. 13.5 mm 440C blade, 20° bevel, hardened to HRC 59–60.
  • Stays shut and stays open — two locking positions; the blade can't creep in a pocket or fold on your finger under load.
  • Lasts — CNC-machined solid brass, fully dismantles for sharpening, and the brass patinas instead of chipping.
  • Honest caveat: it's a 13.5 mm blade. Better than nothing on a hike, not a camp knife. For small branches and cans it's fine; for batoning wood, carry a knife.

Care

Wipe dry after use. Brass darkens with handling; polish with a soft cloth or let it patina. The knife dismantles fully for sharpening or cleaning.
